ja, det er bestemt overraskende, at man lader ham komme over midt i vores sæsonforberedelser, og samtidig må man tro, at han ikke er 100% i gear endnu. For mig kan det kun betyde, at forbindelsen til Chelski er enddog meget varm. Bare smid 100 mio, så er han jeres

Han kan jo ikke opnå arbejdstilladelse i England. Han skal jo have spillet 75% af nigerias landskampe inden for det sidste år for at opnå ophold i england. Mon der kan dispenseres fra de regler?

Tæller U-landsholdskampe, eller skal det være A? Jeg er ikke helt inde i reglerne. Men Obi var vel ikke fast mand på Nigerias A-hold, da han blev købt??

Er ikke helt sikker, og gider ikke lige lede efter reglerne. Men derfor kan jeg jo kloge mig alligevel. >;-D

Mener reglerne er:

Direkte: Spilleren skal spille 75 % af sit lands landskampe

Dispensation: Spilleren skal forventes at spille 75% af sit lands landskampe i det næste år (enten har været skadet altså eller lige er slået igennem, og nu forventes at spille så meget), eller forventes at være på niveau til dette (eks. hvis en spiller er god, men er raget uklar med landstræneren).

Der findes sikkert andre dispensationsmuligheder, men mener disse er i forhold til 75% reglen.

Kom forresten til at tænke på, at der vist var noget med, at han ikke spillede kamp da han var derovre sidst, da der var problemer med spilletilladelsen. Så det kan være det er derfor han er derovre - da han "skyldte" en kamp. Men det tyder da på, at de ikke er blevet afskrækkede, af det, de har set første gang.

Ja, 100 mio. Euro vil være i orden - eller vi kan bytte med Claude Makelele og Michael Ballack(-:

Det er vel sådan set også interessant, at Ørgaard er med derovre. Godt nok har han måske ikke så travlt lige nu, da transfervinduet er lukket, og der er ret godt styr på kontrakterne. Men alligevel. Hvad skal han derovre? Det er da ikke normalt, at en sportsdirektør tager med en spiller til prøvetræning. Det kan selvfølgelig være, at han blot er på "studieophold", for at se hvordan de gør det i så stor en klub, men det kan da også tænkes, at der er andre grunde.

Forhåndsforhandlinger vedr. Salami er jo måske det mest naturlige, men det kunne måske også være noget med at Chelsea kunne få forkøbsret til vores afrikanere (de var jo ude i et større tovtrækkeri om Obi, og Man U har allerede meldt deres interesse for Salami). Så kunne vi til gengæld låne Sheva næste sæson - han har allgevel ikke rigtig slået til

Det er vel trods alt en af hans arbejdsopgaver, og det skulle vel nødigt være sådan at Chelsea førte "Undergrundsforhandlinger"

Nu får han jo også muligheden for at værdisætte Salami lidt bedre, og der er det da rigtigt at det jo næsten kan kaldes et lille studieophold

Nej, men han havde vist spillet i Nigerias foreløbig eneste landskamp det pågældende år (altså året hvor Chelsea købte ham), og derfor havde han jo spillet 100 % af landskampene. Måske lidt en "i princippet..."-diskussion, men mener det var sådan det gik til.

It was advantage Chelsea as the cream of China's young football talent was tested against our young players in west London on Monday night.

A single goal by Spanish Under 17 international Sergio Tejera split the teams in a game held at Brentford FC's Griffin Park.

The Chelsea side was primarily selected from the reserve squad. The opposition were the players expected to play as an Under 23 side for China in their capital city's Olympics in 18 months time.

The visitors from Asia, who are Chelsea's guests for a two-week training camp, started this game enthusiastically to say the least.

Within three minutes, Yu Hai went into the referee's notebook for a studs-showing challenge on Chelsea right-back Sam Hutchinson who needed treatment.

Four minutes later, Hutchinson's game was at an end. Still limping and unable to continue, he was replaced by Shaun Cummings.

The next action was the early Chelsea goal - and a significant moment for 16 year-old Tejera who only made his debut at reserve team level last week.

The goal was a classic of its type - a free-kick from out wide struck high and on-target towards the heads gathered at the far-post. When none of those heads got a touch to Tejera's ball in from the right, Chelsea were ahead.

Keeper Zen Chen will have been disappointed to have found himself quite so rooted.

The card count was evened up on 12 minutes when Ricardo Fernandes crunched into Zheng Tao halfway up the field.

Team China were playing 4-4-2, Chelsea a 4-3-3 shape with attempts being made to play wide men Miroslav Stoch and Fernandes in early.

When replacement full-back Cummings was caught in possession midway through the half, the visitors from overseas won a corner to begin their best spell of pressure to date.

Chelsea got important headers in and when Yu Hai caught the breaking Tejera with a high arm, it earned the already booked midfielder a final verbal warning.

A foul further up the field allowed Michael Woods (pictured) an attempt on goal, his free-kick drifting wide of the near post.

Chelsea's set-pieces were troubling the Chinese and on 37 minutes, the red shirted side very nearly fell for an identical Tejera routine as the one that delivered the goal.

This time Zen Chen reacted at the very last moment to tip the ball fractionally wide.

His opposite number, Yves Ma Kalambay in the Chelsea goal, was confidently dealing with anything high into the box and the Blues' best move of the game so far came in stoppage time at the end of the first period.

A neat interchange between trialist Adigun Salami, Fernandes and Tejera earned a free-kick on the edge of the area, the keeper catching Phil Younghusband's effort just below the bar.

There was a moment of hope for Team China at the start of the second-half when Ma Kalambay had to release the ball after his alert dash and slide to sweep up danger carried him out of the area.

Lv Jian Yuan's lob from 45 yards out was not a million miles away from dropping under the crossbar.

The Chinese were by now mirroring Chelsea's formation and they were much improved.

Harry Worley's block deflected a Yu Hai shot wide after a great diagonal pass by Zhao Ming.

Roared on by a vocal contingent in the crowd, the ball again came Yu Hai's way as it flew across the area, Ma Kalambay dropping on it just a yard from the line.

The big Chelsea keeper was swapped with Nick Hamann soon after and at the other end, Slobodan Rajkovic missed a golden chance to double the lead when he nodded over after exchanging headers with Worley.

Another wild challenge earned another booking on the hour, this time Jiang Chen clattering Salami.

A low cross by Fernandes was flicked on target by Younghusband for the keeper to save, ending a quiet passage of play with 15 minutes remaining.

Soon after, Fernandes himself warmed Zen Chen's hands on a chilly night with a 25-yard attempt.

China broke out through Dai Qing Hua with just under ten minutes remaining but his ambitious attempt flew comfortably wide.

With three minutes remaining on the clock, striker Chen Tao (pictured) pursued a ball into the area and fell as he was challenged by the chasing Cummings. It looked a fair shout for a penalty, and the crowd certainly shouted for it, but crucially, the referee remained unimpressed.

Stoppage time was most notable for one more bone-crunching challenge, this time between Woods and defender Dai Lin. With both players stricken, the rest of the participants took time out to 'debate' the matter.

When play began again, there was another flare-up, centred around a challenge on Chelsea's Lee Sawyer near the touchline. A well-timed final whistle cooled matters down.

Had the closing stages, and the penalty claim in particular, brought a goal for the visitors from the Far East then it would have a reflected their much improved second-half.

But the Chelsea defence had proved a tough nut to crack and the solitary set-piece goal meant defeat in the first of Team China's three matches against London sides during their stay.

Chelsea reserve team coach Brendan Rodgers, who was in charge of the Chelsea XI, said of the match afterwards:

'It was unpredictable. Physically the British game is very tough anyway. It was a tough game in terms of difference because we don't know the opposition.

'However it was a good test of very young players in every aspect of their development, so it was a good game.

'It was an enthusiastic crowd which was fantastic for our young players and made it a good atmosphere.'

Rodgers picked out midfielders Zhao Hai Bin and Chen Tao as players in the Team China side that had impressed him and added:

'I said to my players before the game that we will definitely play a team full of energy who will always fight to the end. My experience of playing teams from China when I was at my old club was exactly the same, so I thought the China team did very well.

'It is never easy to come into a new environment and perform and we have a lot of good young players in our club so overall, I thought it made it a really good game and a game I am pleased we played.'
